Our Work In Belize

AMA’s work in Belize began in the 1960s, following the devastation of Hurricane Hattie. Originally focused on relief and rebuilding efforts, the mission has since expanded into a variety of ministries, including tutoring, social work, prison outreach, and spiritual development through church planting and pastoral care. The Mount Zion Literature ministry plays a significant role in distributing Christian books and tracts, while outreach to the deaf, children’s ministries, and remedial tutoring continue to meet diverse community needs. These efforts reflect AMA’s commitment to holistic support that addresses physical, spiritual, and educational challenges.
