Our Work In Kenya

AMA’s mission in Kenya began in the early 1990s with a focus on church planting, which remains central to the work today. Many congregations were initially formed through connections made via the Lamp and Light Bible courses, which currently have about 8,000 students enrolled. This program, alongside vocational training like sewing classes for women, generates significant energy for spiritual and practical outreach. The mission emphasizes developing strong local leadership, with 20 national pastors and three bishops serving their communities. Recent efforts include a pastors’ seminar aimed at equipping leaders with practical tools for discipleship. A dedicated national staff helps manage book sales and other initiatives, ensuring the mission’s impact continues to grow and thrive across the region.
