Our Work In El Salvador
AMA’s mission in El Salvador began in 1962 as an agricultural development program, with the end goal of providing for the spiritual needs of the Salvadoran people. Along the way, an orphanage with the possibility for adoptions, schools, and various other endeavors paved the way for long-term church planting. Today, the focus remains on church pastoring and nurturing congregations, with national brethren now serving as pastors. Sadly, the clinic, once operated in El Salvador, has closed due to increased healthcare and regulatory challenges as well as staffing shortages. However, AMA continues to prioritize fostering strong local churches and spiritual growth within communities.
